Meeple & Rook ("the club," "we," "us") runs a mobile app and website for organizing board game sessions, tournaments, and club membership. This policy explains what personal information we collect through the app and site, why we collect it, and how it's handled.
We collect only what's needed to register you for an event, process a membership request, or respond to your message — nothing more, and it's never sold.
We collect personal information directly from you when you use one of the app's forms. We don't collect information passively or through third-party trackers.

Fields marked required on a form are the minimum we need to confirm a registration or membership request; everything else is optional and only used if you choose to share it.

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to running the club and its events.
We keep registration details for as long as needed to organize the event and a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping (such as tracking attendance history in your Profile). Membership details are kept for as long as your membership is active, plus a short period after you leave the club in case you rejoin.

Club sessions are open to ages 14 and up, with under-14s welcome when accompanied by a guardian. Where a minor's information is submitted for a session, we treat it as provided with a parent or guardian's knowledge and consent, and use it strictly for that event's registration.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to keep the information you share with us safe.
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in how the club operates. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let members know directly.
